Acceptable Use Policy

Using In My Care lawfully

You must use the service lawfully and only for recording and coordinating the care of a person in your care circle.

You must not

• Share your password or let another person use your account.
• Attempt to access a care circle, record or file you are not authorised to see.
• Attempt to bypass roles, permissions or access controls.
• Create false, fraudulent or misleading care records.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your relationship or authority.
• Post harmful medical misinformation or give unqualified medical instructions.
• Harass, threaten, bully or abuse another member.
• Post hateful, discriminatory, exploitative or sexually inappropriate content.
• Use the app for unlawful surveillance of a member or of the person being cared for.
• Upload malicious files.
• Infringe another person's intellectual property.
• Upload photographs, recordings or documents you have no authority to upload.
• Misuse identity documents, or copy them outside the care circle.
• Share care information outside the authorised care circle.

Enforcement

Where this policy is breached we may apply one or more of the following, proportionate to the circumstances:

1. Warning
2. Content restriction
3. Feature restriction
4. Temporary suspension
5. Removal from a care circle
6. Account suspension
7. Account termination
8. Escalation to the relevant authorities where legally required

Reporting

Report content, a member, or a suspected unauthorised access from the Support area of the app.
